The board of NAREA consists of representatives of the United States, Canada, Mexico, and Italy. Since its founding in 2002, the NAREA board has been a working board, responsible for the development of initiatives and funds in support of the mission, values, and goals of the organization. Board members are expected to actively participate on at least one board committee and attend three board meetings per year, in addition to their active participation in their local community with regard to Reggio inspired schools and initiatives.
