NAREA Column
Beginning with the Fall 2002 issue, Innovations in Early Education: The International Reggio Exchange has published the NAREA Column, which has served as a vehicle for communication and professional development for NAREA members and other educators who are inspired by the Reggio Emilia philosophy of education. Through the years, the NAREA Column has been written by NAREA board members, membership coordinators and members, and has included information about the organization as a whole and its initiatives, such as "The Wonder of Learning - The Hundred Languages of Children" exhibit and the NAREA Professional Development Series, "Dialogues for Quality in Education," projects in collaboration with Reggio Children and North American host communities. The NAREA Column has also included multiple perspectives on topics of interest, such as advocacy and diversity as well as reflections on professional development initiatives in Reggio Emilia, and information on North American network groups and the Reggio Children International Network.
