Program Description

Plymouth Church School is a non-sectarian, independent private preschool with 170 children housed on the historic Plymouth Church campus in Brooklyn Heights. For almost 30 years, Plymouth has been a special place where young children are encouraged to explore and ask questions about the world around them. Our young learners, ages 2 to 6, benefit from a child centered approach to education that allows each child to be challenged in a nurturing environment that emphasizes hands-on learning and an emergent project based curriculum. At Plymouth we highly value and integrate the arts throughout our programming through intensive collaboration with working artists. Our school enjoys a beautiful setting with large sunlit classrooms and multiple outdoor spaces for children to explore the natural world.
