We are a Reggio Emilia inspired preschool that is seeking an experienced, inspired, and motivated co-teacher for our threes classroom for the 2022-2023 school year. The teacher will work with a team in planning, leading groups, documenting work, providing provocations, assessment, participating in parent meetings, writing blogs and reports, and fulfilling responsibilities in the daily care of the children.
The candidate must have a minimum of a BA in early childhood education or related field and have experience working with very young children. Preference will be given to candidates with or working towards a NY State teaching certification.
Salary is commensurate with experience. Benefits, including health insurance, are provided after a probation period. Professional development opportunities are offered to all staff.

We are a small nursery school that is affiliated with Columbia University and offers both half and full days in an eleven-month program. We are housed in a brownstone on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. For the past 17 years we have embraced the Reggio Emilia philosophy and rely on the children’s interests to drive the curriculum and long-term projects.
