Description, Responsibilities, & Duties

We are looking for several afternoon teachers who will work from 12-5 each day. Depending on the classroom and the routine (mostly different for infants) these teachers are responsible for enjoying lunch with the children, helping them get settled for rest, supporting them in getting their things put away when they wake up, and prepared for the remainder of the afternoon. Each teacher works in a dedicated room to ensure consistency and relationship. After pick-up (at 3:30) the teacher helps transition the children who stay for aftercare, and work with the other afternoon teachers to facilitate an engaging afterschool environment for a mixed age-range. Then they work as a team to close down the center for the evening and ensure that things are ready for the next day.

We are also looking for a full-time Older Toddler teacher to fill in while one of our full-time teachers goes on maternity leave in a few months, so if full-time work is preferred please don’t hesitate to connect with us.
