Early Childhood Educator

Description, Responsibilities, & Duties

We are seeking a passionate educator to work with toddlers at The Nest Nursery School, a full-day, year-round early childhood program located in Atlanta.

Interested persons should be loving, reliable, research-oriented, creative, have a good work ethic, be able to work in a dynamic & high energy environment, and be a team player as you will be working with a team of 3 co-teachers.

This position is a unique opportunity to see and be part of human development at the very beginning, when so much happens! There is also the potential for you to move up (looping) with your group of children until they leave our Reggio-inspired school at age four or five.

Minimum Qualifications/Requirements

Experience with and interest in the Reggio Emilia philosophy of education is a plus!

Candidates should have a minimum of a Child Development Associates degree. Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Desired candidates should be good communicators and competent writers.

This position is year-round and full-time.

Salary & Benefits

Salary is commensurate with experience.

School is closed four weeks/year. There are an additional 10 days of paid personal time off.

The school offers a stipend to cover employees’ healthcare-related expenses.
