Our Early Learner’s Studio will have children ranging from ages 4-6 year old. We will have an outdoor classroom accessible throughout the day to the children. Both indoor and outdoor areas will be areas that are experientially-based, child-directed, constructivist environments that are deeply rooted in child development and shaped by current research. A guide will help establish environments in which each child’s voice is respected and acknowledged, where their ability to wonder is cherished, where teachers feel empowered to not only follow a child’s lead but also act as a guide supporting the elaboration of concepts and where opportunities for exploration and deep study are cultivated and protected.
