We are a small pre-K – 3rd grade Reggio Inspired school on an organic farm close to Asheville, NC. We are looking for a teacher to be a lead teacher for the 1st through 3rd grade. We are looking for someone who can use the outdoors as an extension of the classroom, and who can use projects to develop core academic skills. Two of our teachers are native Spanish speakers, we are interested in learning about cultures through food, dance, music, the arts etc.
-certified teacher in lower elementary grades
-experience or interest in Reggio Emilia principles and practices
-Spanish speaking skills
-ability to communicate and work with two other teachers
