Start Date: August 2, 2021

Description, Responsibilities, & Duties

Thank you for considering joining the team of innovators at One School! We believe that students are powerful people that can change the world!

Our Kindergarten and First Grade community has been inspired by the innovative teaching practices developed in Reggio Emilia, Italy. As a Reggio-Inspired K-1 program, our teachers partner with students to dive into big questions with curiosity and creativity. Our teachers are learning architects and facilitators who use the environment as the third teacher, engage research based practices and infuse the arts and academic standards into passion-driven questions and curiosities. As a faith-based school our teachers also engage our students in worship, prayer, and stories to bring faith in Jesus to life in the classroom community.

If you believe:
– Students become powerful thinkers and creators by exploring their ideas and questions through art, drama, science and invention instead of sitting and doing worksheets all day.

– The environment is the third teacher and students work best in a rich engaging environment and community with curiosity driven, emergent curriculum with research based instructional strategies powering their progress;

– Growing in faith means fun, real worship songs and prayer for each other along with discussing the bible and faith throughout the learning all day;

– Collaboration with other innovative teachers is what ensures that we are constantly evolving and growing so that we create the education opportunities our students need to be ready to lead and succeed;

then you may be exactly the team member we are waiting for to join us in this adventure!
