Full-time Lead needed to work on a collaborative team of highly educated, enthusiastic, and child-focused educators in a classroom with 3 to 6 year olds. Work alongside other teachers who are passionate about what they do and committed to providing quality education to young children in a Montessori classroom. Influenced by Reggio Emilia philosophy and supported by a full-time Studio teacher, our school values creative expression, social constructivism, and respect for each individual as a competent, capable, and resilient part of the community.
Experience working with young children in classroom settings
Educational degrees in the fields of early child care or education
Understanding of Montessori and Reggio-Emilia philosophies
Good verbal and written communication skills
Flexibility
A deep respect for young children and their varied learning styles
Salary range of $35,000 to $45,000 depending on education, certification, and experience.
Comprehensive benefits including but not limited to health care, vision plan, dental plan, matching 403B, STD, LTD, 10 paid days off, etc.
Work an academic year–late August through early June during a limited day (745 AM to 330 PM), including paid holidays.
