The American School of Bombay seeks an experienced Early Childhood Educator to teach in a stimulating and progressive Prekindergarten program. Working alongside an experienced team of international educators, the successful applicant will have: A deep understanding of the developmental needs of three and four-year-olds A demonstrated commitment to a child-centered, play-based pedagogy Strong interpersonal skills, and a highly collaborative approach. Our program has strong elements of Reggio Emilia embedded alongside our commitment to the Primary Years Program (PYP). To support our integrated programs we are guided by the Teaching Strategies GOLD assessment tool.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have: Demonstrated knowledge integrating 21st century skills and technology to enhance learning Excellent interpersonal and communication skills A minimum of three years relevant teaching experience in a K-12 American / International School Master’s degree from a recognized university Teaching certification and knowledge of IB/PYP preferred

ASB is a Pre-K to Grade 12 international school and has just under 700 students from 58 countries serving students primarily from Mumbai’s expatriate community. Our Elementary School, situated in a purpose-built campus in northern Mumbai, serves students from 3 years old to Grade 5.
