World Builders Academy is seeking a qualified teacher with experience in a Reggio Emilia educational setting to work with our preschool students. Candidates must have the ability to nurture and provide stimulating activities for young children.
Teachers are expected to supervise the class, enforce safety procedures, and instruct children on the class curriculum. Prospective teachers must show strong leadership skills, independent functioning, and a passion for working with children, have a team mentality and be positive role models for youth in the community.
Responsibilities include: Develop preschool curriculum for school year; Help with daily set-up and cleanup of classroom; Enforce school rules and regulations; Provide safe and friendly environment; Foster an organized classroom setting; Provide excellent customer service to parents and children enrolled at World Builders Academy.

Two years experience in a preschool setting, Reggio experience a plus
Strong communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
Thrives working individually as well as part of a team
High School Diploma/GED required, Bachelors degree preferred
Equivalent work experience considered
Able to lift 50 pounds, ability to be self-driven and willingness to engage in continuing education
$16.00 – $20.00 per hour, depending on experience

World Builders Academy offers educational programs for learners of all ages, Infant – 5th grade, in a newly renovated building on a 1.5 acre treed property near Parkville, Missouri.
