NAREA offers Professional Development Partnerships to schools and educators who are interested in further developing themselves through exchange and research together. NAREA is dedicated to an elevated image of early childhood education seen as a profession committed to understanding children and education through research and innovation, inspired by Reggio Emilia’s values, principles, and experiences.
NAREA values bringing resources into schools and communities in support of their growth. Whether you are new to this way of teaching and interested in learning about fundamental values or you have been studying this approach and are interested in a more specific focus of learning, NAREA representatives will listen carefully to your wishes and interests to meet you where you are and build forward professionally. Listening, questioning, and engaging in your contexts are guiding values of NAREA Professional Development Partnerships.
Available Packages
Both virtual and hybrid packages are available. There is limited availability for in-person sessions, especially during COVID-19. There are distance learning possibilities where live meetings can take place accompanied by readings, videos, and discussion/reflection.
Packages are offered in sets of three meetings. A team of two NAREA representatives will facilitate two virtual sessions for educators, administrators, support staff, and families.
- Each session will range from 2–3 hours
- A complimentary third session is offered following the two virtual sessions
- Dates and content to be agreed upon by both parties
