We are a Community school that values working together. This position of Preschool Educator would be working with our supportive community of Educators as Co-Researchers alongside mixed ages of children 2.5-5 years old in our Reggio-Emilia Inspired, Constructivist Early Learning Development Center. Responsibilities would include working with a co-teacher in both our classroom and beautiful outdoor environment. Creating an emergent curriculum inspired by the children’s interests. Creating invitations and provocations to inspire curiosity leading to deep learning and discoveries! Documentation of the children’s learning experiences. Working collaboratively with our team of Educators and Pedagogista to continue the children’s exploration and discovery journey.
We are a licensed program that requires the minimum of 12 completed Early Childhood Education (ECE) units. Knowledge and/or experience of Reggio Emilia-Inspired, Constructivist practice. We value and provide continuous professional development in deepening the Reggio-Emilia practice.

Salary based on Education and experience.

Community Seedlings Preschool is a social constructivist, ever evolving, Reggio-Emilia Inspired program with a large focus on nature-based learning and art education. We strive to create a learning environment where young children can grow based on their natural curiosity and innate ability to learn from their experience!
We offer an outdoor Atelier, large outdoor classroom and garden, STEM studio as well as 4 beautiful classrooms with specific focuses of learning. We have over 1/4 acre of nature outdoor space and spend a large majority of our time outdoors.
