We, Kodomo Edu, are a Reggio-inspired Preschool in Tokyo, JAPAN, blending Japanese Zen philosophy with Reggio.
We are located in the center of Tokyo, Nakameguro. Our neighborhood is beautiful with a long river with lots of cherry blossoms in spring.
Teachers are very diverse and we love this dynamic team. We aim to be a game-changer in the Japanese education industry and create the collaborative and supportive environment for both children and teachers.

JOB DESCRIPTION :
* Be committed to the child-centered learning environment by bringing the sense of wonder to the children.
* Observe the children and present them appropriate questions that can encourage them to explore further.
* Create documentations by observing the children so as to share their learning process with your colleagues and the parents.
* Be proactive to improve the school
* Be a constant learner to deepen your teaching skill (We provide dedicated training programs.)
* Take appropriate free time to deepen your knowledge and interest which can contribute to the classroom.
WORK HOURS:
* School Hours: 9:00am to 6:00pm or/ 8:30pm-5:30pm (one-hour lunch break)
* Work hours : 40 hours in a week, from Monday to Friday
Title:
Co-Lead Teacher
* Preschool teacher qualifications required.
* Work experience at Reggio-inspired school more than 2 years would be preferable.
* The contract needs to be more than 2 year.
* Compensation: from 300,000 yen to 400,000 yen
* Holidays : Japanese holidays, 2 weeks summer break, 2 weeks winter break, 1 week at Spring Break
* Initial and regular-basis trainings by Reggio Emilia approach professionals
* Visa support
* Opportunity for promotion
