NAREA is collaborating with Reggio Children to offer a study group experience in Reggio Emilia focusing on the interconnected values, principles, attitudes, research, and experiences that have come to characterize Reggio Emilia’s approach to early education.

Key Details

Check-in: Saturday, May 29 (after 2 pm)
Welcome meeting: Sunday, May 30 (6 pm)
Program begins: Monday, May 31
Cultural experience: Wednesday, June 2
Program concludes: Friday, June 4 (afternoon)
Check-out: Saturday, June 5 (by 11 am)

Wednesday, June 2 is a national holiday (participants are free to take their own day trip or join a cultural experience organized by NAREA.
Details of the cultural experience will be shared in February 2027)

PROGRAM INCLUDES

Meeting with teachers, pedagogistas, and atelieristas of the infant-toddler centers and preschools
Visiting preschools and infant-toddler centers of the Municipality of Reggio Emilia Istituzione*
- *Visiting is contingent upon the health conditions at the time of our visit
Engaging with ateliers
Discussing and reflecting with others
Participating in cultural encounters

Fees Cover

Reggio Children tuition
7-nights lodging
- Check-in on Saturday, May 29^th to check-out on Saturday, June 5^th
When required by the program, bus transportation and English/Italian translation
Daily coffee breaks and buffet lunches at Pause restaurant, located inside the International Center
Certificate of participation
