we are Seeking candidates who are good communicators, organized and detail oriented and able to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
Successful Director Candidates must be committed to develop a strategic plan of action for the school in regards to the management of the office and in relation with the pedagogical plan of action while effectively overseeing the daily operations of the school. In addition they will perform the following duties:
• Developing with the faculty a sense of belonging to the school
• Assisting families with billing questions, developmentally appropriate practices, day-to-day problem solving, concerns or questions.
• Creating and implementing local marketing plan to grow enrollment
• Complying with federal and state laws, license standards, and company policies and procedures.
• Assisting in preparation of budget, reviews budget and monitors purchases of supplies and equipment.
• Participating in advisory board meetings and assisting in developing sound policies
• Recognizing the need for and supervising repair of the center.
• Coordinate conferences, school visits and other professional development activities.
• Nurturing your own professional growth
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• BACHELOR’S DEGREE, PREFERRED IN EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION, CHILD DEVELOPMENT, CHILD PSYCHOLOGY OR RELATED FIELD.
• MUST HAVE A DIRECTOR CREDENTIAL THROUGH THE FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF CHILDREN & FAMILIES.
• COMMITMENT TO QUALITY EARLY CHILDHOOD CARE
• GOOD COMMUNICATION SKILLS, SELF-STARTER, PROACTIVE MARKETER.
• STRONG LEADERSHIP, SUPERVISORY AND CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS
• PROFICIENT COMPUTER SKILLS
• KNOWLEDGE OF ACCREDITATION STANDARDS
• ABILITY TO ADAPT TO HIGH-PACED ENVIRONMENT.
• PRIOR EXPERIENCE MANAGING IN A LICENSED SCHOOL
• MUST BE CPR/FIRST AID CERTIFIED,
• FL DRIVERS LICENSE AND ANNUAL TB TEST REQUIRED,
• EXCELLENT SPOKEN AND WRITTEN ENGLISH/SPANISH
