Description, Responsibilities, & Duties
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with co-teachers and the atelierista to design and implement Reggio-inspired
learning projects
- Observe, document, and reflect on children’s interests and discoveries
- Partner with children as co-learners and researchers in the classroom
- Build strong, trusting relationships with families through consistent communication
- Create documentation panels and online posts that make learning visible
- Participate in ongoing professional development, meetings, and conferences
Minimum Qualifications/Requirements
Qualifications
- Experience working with young children in a Reggio Emilia–inspired or play-based
setting
- Understanding of child-centered education and emergent curriculum
- Positive and respectful approach to guiding behavior
- Collaborative, flexible, and reflective educator who values teamwork
- Strong communication, observation, and organizational skills
Education & Certifications
- Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (preferred)
- Child Development Associate (CDA) Certification (preferred)
- CPR/First Aid Certification (or willingness to complete upon hire)
Salary & Benefits
Salary Start:
38,000-42,000
