Urban Sprouts Child Development Center is looking for early childhood educators THAT ARE AS PASSIONATE AS WE ARE ABOUT DEVELOPING THE WHOLE CHILD to work as part of our teaching team. We have MULTIPLE opportunities and both full and part time positions available.
WE ARE MOST INTERESTED IN CANDIDATES WITH THE FOLLOWING: • MUST BE 18 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER • MUST PASS A CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECK • HAVE EXPERIENCE WORKING IN AN ACCREDITED FACILITY (PREFERRED) • HAVE, OR IN PURSUIT OF, AN ASSOCIATES OR BACHELOR’S IN EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION OR A RELATED FIELD (PREFERRED) • THE ABILITY TO MEET STATE AND/OR ACCREDITATION REQUIREMENTS FOR EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE • REFERENCES THAT CAN ATTEST TO WORK ETHIC AND EARLY CHILDHOOD EXPERIENCE • KNOWLEDGE OF DAP AND THE REGGIO EMILIA METHOD
salary is based on education and experience. For full time employees we offer medical, dental, vision & Life insurance. scholarships are available for tuition ASSISTANCE. We offer 2 weeks paid vacation after one year employment and paid holidays after a 90 day trial period. We also offer 50% tuition discount for children of employees.
