C5 Children’s School
Start Date: August 3, 2015
We currently have openings for dedicated, energetic, creative, prepared professionals to join our teaching team in a Reggio Emilia inspired program and work with infant through pre-kindergarten aged children. These positions will remain open until filled.
Each teacher works with a small learning group of children, is also part of a larger teaching team, and works with a variety of additional support professionals. The infant-toddler teacher will work with two-month olds to two-year olds. The preschool-toddler teacher will work with toddlers from 18 months to four years of age.
C5 has highly supportive and participative parent groups and a wide array of learning centers, materials, tools, equipment, and processes, including a highly developed project approach for much of our emergent curriculum, which is based on children’s interests and fascinations, developmental stages, and family cultures.
Minimum Requirements: 1) Completed 12 units of California required Early Childhood Education courses, including the equivalent of 3 semester units of credit for a college level infant-toddler development course, and 2) two years of successful experience working with toddlers through pre-kindergarten aged children.
