At Tokyo Children’s Garden, we are seeking a Lead Early Childhood Educator to inspire and guide our young learners on their early life adventures. As a pioneer in early childhood education, we are committed to nurturing each child’s unique potential while fostering a love for learning.
Applicants should be passionate, open minded, and have amazing communication skills to collaborate well with children and fellow teachers. As we are a very active school, we need teachers who have a lot of stamina and enjoys the outdoors. We are looking for applicants who aren’t afraid to challenge the image of teaching and the image of children. Responsibilities:
* Empower children to explore, discover, and learn through small group projects
Collaborate with a team of dedicated educators
Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
* Minimum 5-6 years of lead teacher experience in early childhood education, preferably in a Reggio Emilia-inspired environment
* Management/administrative experience/teacher training experience a plus
* Bachelor’s Degree
* Basic Japanese would be an advantage
