Naturally Grown School, a small, private, non-profit experimental school near Asheville, N.C., is seeking a full-time lead teacher to join our team to teach pre-K to 4th grade. Naturally Grown, now in its fifth year is Reggio Emilia inspired and situated on an organic farm in Mills River. The school has 12 to 16 students, is tuition-free and bilingual Spanish/English.
The Candidate we seek would Ideally be fluent in English and Spanish (native Spanish speaker preferred). Applicants should have training and experience in reggio emilia or project based education; preference will be given to applicants with solid experience teaching pre-k and k. We are seeking a person who is motivated and inspired, and can work with us to develop our program and multi-age curriculum further. excellent life skills and communication abilities, confidence, flexibility, devotion to the welfare of children, and positive outlook are all required.
