Preschool Co-Teacher position, working with 2 year old children in a classroom with experienced and dedicated co-teachers.
Candidates who are skilled in creating responsive curriculum in a collaborative setting will be excited to work in this work environment with dedicated co-teachers.
Applicants should have experience with working in team teaching environments, have strong communication skills, and be able to multitask and remain responsive to children. Teachers in our school community develop rich relationships with all the children, teachers and families.
This position is Monday-Friday 8:30am-4:30pm
Responsibilities include:
Providing an engaging and caring learning environment for children;
Creating strong relationships based in respect and curiosity with children, their families and colleagues;
Development of curriculum in collaboration with colleagues and based on observations of children and their interests and needs;
Engaging in observation and documentation of children’s growth and learning;
Participation in staff meetings and in-service trainings;
Consistent, clear communication with parents, coworkers, and children.
Qualifications sought:
We are looking for applicants with 12+ ECE units and at least two years teaching experience with young children.
Qualified applicants will be committed to ongoing professional growth and will have some knowledge of the Reggio Emilia approach, emergent curriculum and anti-bias curriculum. Applicants should be aligned with a play-based, child centered philosophy of working with young children

Job Type: Full-time
Salary dependent on length of experience, level of education and number of ECE units – range between $21.00 – $32.00 per hour
