The Advent School, located in the Beacon Hill Section of downtown Boston, is looking for a collaborative Kindergarten co-teacher who brings intelligence, creativity and knowledge of the teaching of literacy and mathematics to our Reggio Emilia-inspired classroom. Applicants must be adept at generating original learning experiences and have strong writing skills. They must be comfortable communicating with parents within a family-oriented school community.
CANDIDATES SHOULD HAVE TWO TO THREE YEARS OF TEACHING EXPERIENCE IN PRE-KINDERGARTEN, KINDERGARTEN, OR FIRST GRADE AND KNOWLEDGE OF OR DIRECT WORK WITH Reggio Emilia inspired schools and THE DEVELOPMENT OF EMERGENT CURRICULA.
