This is a great opportunity to become part of a growing Spanish immersion family and advance your career. We are looking for Lead Preschool teacher for our 3 year old classroom. Our philosophy is play based with an emergent curriculum that is developed based on the questions and interests of the children with a Reggio Emilia approach. We are a process based art and science school and spend most days outdoors, you must love nature and being outdoors! This position is to lead our 3\’s program, create a warm and inspiring environment, to give children an incredible first experience of our Spanish immersion program, to provide process based art & science activities and create community amongst the families. Positive mindset and love of music a must! We work hard and have fun and are looking for a teacher with a positive mindset, lots of energy and a strong desire to be a better teacher and human! Must have a US work permit. This position is full-time 8:10am-4:40pm.
Desired Qualifications:
5+ years of experience
Early Child Development Teacher permit or higher
Age Groups: Preschool, Toddler
First Aid Training, CPR Training,
Early Childhood Education (ECE)- 24units
First Aid & CPR
Google doc experience
Knowledge of Reggio Approach
Live Scan fingerprint and criminal background clearance
Must be able to use a computer with basic proficiency.
Ability to speak, read and write Spanish and English.
Will be responsible for daily planning, managing and supervising the classroom and children.
Salary range: $28-32 per hour
