Teacher in a 3s and 4s class – Preschool

Location:

Cobb Jewish Preschool | Marietta, GA

Start Date: December 1, 2025

Description, Responsibilities, & Duties

  • Creating a warm, welcoming, and engaging classroom environment
  • Collaborating with co-teachers to plan and implement developmentally appropriate, emergent curriculum
  • Supporting social-emotional development through conscious discipline and responsive interactions
  • Documenting children’s learning through observation, photographs, and reflective planning
  • Communicating regularly with families to build strong partnerships
  • Participating in weekly staff meetings and professional development opportunities
  • Preparing the classroom before the school year begins and assisting with year-end organization

Minimum Qualifications/Requirements

  • A degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
  • Experience working with young children in a classroom setting
  • Passion for Reggio Emilia-inspired teaching and a growth mindset
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

 

Salary & Benefits

  • Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Program Description

Cobb Jewish Preschool (CJP), a Reggio-inspired early childhood program in East Cobb, Georgia, is seeking a passionate, nurturing, and creative educator to join our team as a full-time teacher in our 3s and 4s classroom. Starting ASAP.
At CJP, we believe in the power of relationships, the beauty of childhood, and the importance of curiosity and wonder in learning. Our educators are co-constructors of knowledge alongside children, guiding exploration and inquiry in a joyful, respectful, and intentionally designed environment.
