Map of Contexts
The idea behind the Map of Contexts is to create a visual representation of schools, centers, universities and programs in North America whose work is inspired by the experiences and philosophies of Reggio Emilia, Italy. Inclusion in the map is a self-nominating process and, therefore, the map will represent a diverse range of work in terms of experience, depth, interpretation and quality. Those NAREA members interested in submitting their school, center, university or program can do so on the Map of Contexts Information page of the Members Only Area of the NAREA website.
Use the map below to find NAREA contexts in any region of North America. To get started, double click on the region of interest and the map will zoom in and show you contexts for that region. After selecting a region, you can click on any of the context markers to see detailed information for that context. To see extended information for the context, click the "extended description" link for that context. For detailed address information or to view a different region, follow the instructions for navigating the map below.
