Are the exhibitions + ateliers from Reggio Emilia, Italy?

Certainly

Each exhibition includes a collection of works by the children and adults of the Preschools and Infant-toddler Centers – Istituzione of the Municipality of Reggio Emilia. NAREA manages the exhibition in North America and has a contractual relationship with Reggio Children. Hosts have a contractual relationship with NAREA and communicate requests, questions, and concerns to NAREA. NAREA communicates requests, questions, and concerns of the host to Reggio Children.

We are currently accepting proposals to host in North American communities. The call for proposals includes basic information, including the size and content of the exhibition, the characteristics of an exhibition venue, installation, and shipping. The proposal guidelines offer a template for the necessary content to include in a proposal.

How long is the hosting period for Mosaics and Bordercrossings?

The hosting period for both exhibitions + ateliers is 5 1/2 months.

What size venue is necessary to host?

Size Can Vary

The minimum size of venue is ~1,500 square feet with electrical service; however, large, aesthetically interesting atriums, galleries, or museum spaces are ideal.

The Mosaics exhibition has 21 panels and 5 TVs (and stands).

The Bordercrossings exhibition has 14 panels and 6 TVs (and stands).

Is it possible to locate the exhibitions in two venues during one hosting period?

Not at This Time

To manage the condition of the exhibitions, they are meant be located at one venue in one host community during the hosting period.
