The Nest is looking for applicants that have a genuine love for and interest in young children. We are also looking for people who are curious about life and believe in life-long learning. Must be good at multi-tasking, organization and classroom & time management. In addition, applicant must believe in the natural capabilities of young children and be a team player.
Full time teachers will be expected to manage a classroom, collaborate regularly with other teachers and participate in “design thinking”.
The Nest Nursery School is dedicated to ensuring that teachers are happy, motivated, and find meaning and joy in their work with children.

The Nest is a non-profit located in Grant Park that serves families with children ages 6 months to 5 years of age. We have four classrooms with a total of 43 families and 15 staff members. We are inspired by our colleagues in Reggio Emilia and use the Nurturing Heart approach as well.
