Mountain Village School is an early childhood program in the village of Stowe, Vermont. We are seeking a preschool teacher to join our program.
We are a nature based program, spending a considerable amount of time outside each day. We build our curriculum around the questions, inquisitions children present. We also use nature and the outside world as an important aspect of our program.
We are seeking an experienced teacher that is comfortable outside in all types of weather to lead a classroom of 3, 4, & 5 year olds.
At least a bachelor’s degree in education or closely related field.
A minimum of 1-2 years of classroom experience.
VT Teaching License would be a great bonus!
Salary is based on education and experience. Beginning salary starts at $46,840 and would go as high as $58,240.
