Program Description

Ventana School is seeking part time preschool teachers who can passionately support children’s play, exploration, inquiry, and creative/critical thinking. We are looking for teachers to begin Fall, 2015. If you are interested in a team-teaching experience with 2, 3, 4 or 5 year olds, please consider applying. Shifts are 8:30-2:00 Monday through Friday. Summer hours are available to those who wish to work.

Ventana has offered Reggio Emilia-inspired preschool programs since 2004. The School is growing rapidly and currently serves children 2 years old through 5th grade. We promote experiences that build a child’s relationship with the natural world and use of materials as “languages” of expression. Ventana School is a place where learning is a joint venture between children and teachers and where learning happens in the context of childhood. We practice project-based teaching and learning at all levels of learning.  We provide children with many experiences and materials to express and represent their thinking.
