DESCRIPTION, RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Working as part of a teaching team in a mixed age classroom from 2.5-4, this role requires flexibility and prioritizing children’s social and emotional growth. All teachers on the team fluctuate between planned facilitation and focus work with children. Teachers are responsible for
*positive and professional communication with parents, teachers and children
*documenting children’s interests and written reflections
*community engagement and relationship building
*participation in planned meetings, professional development and creating a sense of community.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
We are enthusiastic about continuing education and will consider current students in pursuit of the Reggio approach and an ECE related degree or certification. Classroom experience is a plus and a minimum of 24 ECE units is requested. We are willing to train.
PAY & BENEFITS
Hourly pay is commesurate with experience and education. Benefits include professional development opportunities and association membership dues. We also financially support current insurance plans.

Voyages Preschool is a Reggio inspired and social constructivist preschool dedicated to families, community, and social and emotional growth for children from 2.5-5 years old. We are a home based school serving 12 children at any one time. Established in 2015, Voyages Preschool was created to meet the growing need for quality education that views children as capable and filled with their own cultures, ready to explore. We follow the latest in brain development to bring meaningful experiences full of wonder to our community. We believe the voyage of discovery is an ever evolving experience that embraces a love of learning, a passion for different points of view, and an adventure for all citizens of our learning community: children, teachers, and families.
