All Around Child, Center for Exploration & Development is currently accepting applications for full-time co-teachers as well as a center Atelierista for our programs serving infants though School-Age. We are a family owned and operated, Project-Based school serving infants through age 12. Our program is highly influenced and inspired by the Reggio Emilia philosophy. Prior knowledge of and/or experience with the Project Approach to Early Childhood Education or the Reggio Emilia philosophy is preferred, but not required as additional training can be provided on-site. In order to maximize our relationships as well as the academic success of our students, our teachers keep the same group of students for two years. Since a major component of the Reggio philosophy is continuity of care, we are looking for longevity from our teaching staff. Atelierista applicants should have a passion and knowledge of the arts in all forms and the ability to work with a diverse age group from infants though school-age children. The Atelierista also has the responsibility of maintaining the studio space and collaborating with teachers and children on their projects. 1 year of prior teaching experience in a licensed child care center or early childhood program is required; or 7-9 credit hours in early childhood education or a related field and a minimum of 6 months of teaching experience. Some computing skills are required in order to complete daily documentation. Applicants must also possess a nurturing and warm personality along with a love of learning; be organized, timely and dependable in nature; and be willing to grow in the field of early childhood education through training and development opportunities.
Positions are full-time, Monday - Friday year-round.
