Scholarship Information

First 5 Monterey County (F5MC) approved the direct purchase of 25 non-member/off-site NAREA Summer Conference registrations ($750 value each) with CCAEYC managing the actual process and registrations. These were in addition to the 20 complimentary registrations provided by NAREA  CCAEYC managed the process of selecting registrants and getting all of the information to NAREA, etc. F5MC had the requirement that non-CCAEYC members be allowed to apply and that any award would go to an educator living in and working in Monterey County serving children ages 0 – 5. F5MC purchased the registrations directly from NAREA for management by CCAEYC. This was in addition to the 20 registrations that were donated directly by NAREA to the host organization.  This resulted in management of 45 registration slots. Each recipient was required to pay a certain non-refundable portion of the registration fee directly to CCAEYC to ensure participation.
