Hosting the Mosaic of Marks, Words, Material Exhibition
What to Expect
NAREA’s management of the Mosaic exhibition + atelier on behalf of Reggio Children and Istituzione offers North American communities the opportunity to deepen Reggio-inspired work locally. We partner with hosts throughout their hosting period to support them in making the most of their time with the exhibition. Here, we offer a birds-eye view of the hosting experience from start to finish.
This exhibition follows children as they interact with a rich variety of diverse materials, inventing strategies and narratives with one another over time. It represents the power of drawing, mark-making, materials, words, narratives, and relationships in learning. A highlight of this exhibition is a host-created, interactive atelier, which offers a creative studio space welcoming children and adults to meet materials and ideas directly.

Some hosts collaborate with NAREA and Reggio Children to plan and organize a NAREA conference, which includes the presence of Reggio Children representatives paid for by NAREA.
